Additional Terms of Use for our AI/LLM-based Features (Roadmap Spring 2025)
Our LLM code-conversion and code-generation features (hereafter referred to as LLMCG) leverages and provides generative AI capabilities. It is a “Developer Tool” and requires human developers to take ownership of the resulting development deliverables regardless of how they were generated.
LLMCG use is also subject to the following terms:
- Generative AI. Our LLMCG uses generative AI technology. Due to the nature of generative AI, the output that it generates may be unpredictable, and may include inaccurate or harmful responses. Before using any generative AI output, you are solely responsible for reviewing the output for accuracy, safety, and compliance with applicable laws and acceptable use policies. You assume all responsibility for, and retain ownership of, output generated by our LLMCG.
- Use. Our LLMCG may be used in Salesforce-related projects and tools. You agree that you will not (a) use our LLMCG in a manner that violates any applicable laws or infringes, misappropriates, or otherwise violates any party’s intellectual property rights; (b) use our LLMCG in a manner that violates the Acceptable Use and External-Facing Services Policy and/or Artificial Intelligence Acceptable Use Policy, as updated by Salesforce from time to time here; (c) modify or create derivative works of LLMCG; (d) reverse assemble, reverse compile, decompile, translate, engage in model extraction or stealing attacks, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code or underlying components of models, algorithms, and systems of our LLMCG (except to the extent such restrictions are contrary to applicable law); or (e) use our LLMCG to develop foundation models or other large scale models that compete with our products.
